Rent Rebate

Iowa residents may be eligible for rent rebates. 

Eligibility depends on total yearly household income, and one of the following applies:  65 years of age or older, or be totally disabled and 18 years of age or older by December 31.

Beginning January 1,, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will manage the Rent Reimbursement program.

You can apply for reimbursement for 2024 and 2023 claims by using any device that connects to the internet.
