Hillcrest Family Services-Homelessness Prevention

Through our homeless outreach programs, and working collaboratively with other service providers, we treat people with brain health illnesses and those suffering with issues of substance abuse who are chronically homeless or in imminent risk of being homeless.

Our particular efforts include assistance with obtaining shelter and other basic needs, applying for Section 8 housing subsidies, help with prescription and medication costs, assistance with obtaining income support, and working with other resources to provide alcohol and drug abuse and brain health counseling and case management.  Hillcrest is a recipient of PATH funds which are used in part to assist persons experiencing homelessness.
